Ok...I am rather bummed out today..progressively. I am beginning to think that its that time again where I forget about playing music for a while. The deal with playing with others is way more complex than playing alone....but there is nothing quite like a good session where you feel you've landed on another planet.
However, the are other choices available to me such as riding. Nothing quite comes close to a good long ride to take you away and lift your spirits, (as long as all goes well... ;0 )
March means Winter is basically over. I'm ready for the change, but its been so helpful this year to have fewer days where I have to crack the ice out of frozen water buckets, vowing to get heated ones "next year" but I kept waiting to get fed up with it and it never really happened. I will count my blessings and hope for less humidity and fewer bugs this summer!!!

Yeah, the situation sucks and bums me out too. Time to forge on, not give up!

Well...lets see...my barn mate is leaving in two weeks without being replaced and I am working 50-60 hours a week ....but am trying to delegate some of that so that I can actually have a life and ride.
Riiiight!! Riding...I'll believe it when i see it. :)
Ok....wiseguy.....you'll see it...maybe you would like to ride too? ;)
I'll ride! Or jam! Or eat! Or just about anything else that doesn't require me to wear a tutu or high heels. :)
I have been riding dear...let me know when and where. Maybe we'll see more of you on horseback when the weather turns. Though I have to admit I'd be disappointed to find that you are a fair weather rider. LOL
It really doesn't have anything to do with the weather so maybe you can cut me some slack..eh?! How do you know I'm not riding my own horse..huh? Disappointed? That's not very supportive. Hmmm...I saw a black horse trot by at around 10am on Saturday...perhaps that was you? I think so!
I know it's not weather related - just giving you a hard time. Actually...it was Saturday. It was a black horse. But it was closer to 2PM.
Ok...so you are trying to get a reaction I see. I know it was 10am because I saw you! Unless of course you aren't who I think you are..then we have a mystery to solve..haha.
I think I'm not who you think I am...I did ride and it was after 13.00 - I have reliable people that can vouch for me. You do have a mystery to solve. :)
OK....so, where are these "reliable people" that can back you up Anonymous one? Maybe you were headed back to the stable that afternoon in which case, no I wouldn't have seen you. So, let me get this straight...apparently you are not the same rider I saw heading into town in the am? Hmmm...I'll find you eventually!

Nope that wasn't me...I was heading in the opposite direction of down town...yet still riding big black. I'll bet you will find me...

hahaha...i know what you are thinking and you are going with this. I'm not who you think I am because then I'd have to say that I'm not available this weekend...then again...I might be one not to be 'scheduled' to work weekends. There is a certain possibility that I will be riding due to some unusual circumstances.
So it is work for you..hmmmm. Well that would narrow it right down now wouldn't it? What might those unusual circumstances be...let's see...how about we go for a ride together mysterious one?
come on now...it should be sooooooo obvious who i am. "Work" is what you make of it. So yes I do work there but it's not a "job". I'm available to ride this weekend. Say Sunday 9.30AM? There will be two of us not so fair-weather riders going out. Leaves one horse just for you.
Ok..I have a pretty good idea now! Isn't it all fair-weather at this point? I bet that heated tack room over there helped you "hardcore" winter riders to stay warm..yeah? I think we all know the reality of caring for horses through the New England winter..so gimme a break with the fair-weather thing huh? I will plan to see you Sunday am...I have to feed/turnout at my barn first. I will call if anything changes. ok?
Sounds good...see u there. Do you have a preference on who to ride? I'd like to ride Roy. One other "minion" will be there too so we can take 3 critters out. And trust me...we don't all have the luxury of heated tack rooms. I know what riding in the brutal cold is like. It's no fun. But I did find a "sensitive spot" didn't I? LOL. See u there. Call the barn cuz i don't hear the cell when I'm working.
I don't really have a preference..I seem to always end up on TJ so maybe I should give King a try if you are claiming Roy. He is an easy boy!! Ok..see you this weekend ;)
